Finally an opportunity to flip-off the President in person! George Bush addressed a group of newly naturalized citizens this morning at a ceremony held at Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, just two miles from my little orange cottage. The security was Nazi like, yet my friend Jenine and I were able to walk past stopped vehicles and barricades, straight down the median to the front lines, where we were met by fellow protesters, including my Peace activist cousin Erin and my Aunt Patty. A dream realized...now I can die.
