The Beales of Grey Gardens

Please see "The Beales of Grey Gardens". Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy would have taken the bullet herself, if she were alive to see this reality show. It is a 1972 documentary depicting the everyday lives of two crazy bitches, o.k., let's just call them eccentric ladies, who happen to be the Edith Bouvier Beales, a mother-daughter duo who are aunt and first cousin to the former first lady. It's a classic Riches-to-Rags story, with a little Camelot and mental illness thrown in for fun. The Beales live in squalor and isolation at Grey Gardens, a decrepit 28-room mansion at 3 West End Avenue in the Georgica Pond section of East Hampton, NY.

A must see.

You know, I'm a little bit doubtful about this photo. Because, as you said, where are her muscles and everything.... And the face looks like from ''Confessions'' photo shoot in the stable... I might be wrong but this whole cover could be fake. Ok, I have also put this photo on my blog but still.... I will be assured when I see more of photos like that.

It's legit, I just went to the "Dazed.." homepage and there it was, so I am convinced.

Hey Dazed & Confused magazine... they so much think they are something...
My friend was a trainee (film and photographic) makeup artist... shared a building and used the same caff downstairs as the D&C crew... she said basically for all their "ironic" wit they were a soulless, humourless half-dead posse of nothingness people, so scared of stepping a foot wrong out of their immaculate trend-chasing lives that they were basically all the fun company of a bunch of disinterred 17th century plague pit corpses!

You miss Madge's muscles?!

I kind of don't to be honest. LOL! She's always had those set of guns that were much better than mine! And it takes away from her femmeness.

It's really just airbrushing/photoshopping man.
